Kids like dirt. Parents don’t. The good thing is there is a way to compromise - with clay! Clay is a wonderful medium that allows kids to explore and create independently while improving hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. In Me and Clay ™ ceramics classes, kids can explore how to shape clay, join wet sections, understand glaze application and learn about what happens during firing. They are exposed to a wide range of ceramic techniques, like pinch pots, coil pots and hard slab hand building and also learn about the importance of dedication and follow-through.

Me and Clay ™ art making sessions are designed for Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Classes begin immediately after regular school hours to provide a useful extension of time for busy parents while giving children a creative outlet to experiment and learn about art.

Me and Clay ™ is  an all-inclusive instruction “at your school”  program with clay, glazes and firing provided but no cost to the school.
